The Panama Canal

The Panama Canal is on of the most interesting places to visit. Ships can wait up to 24 hours to begin the journey through the canal. It takes up to 8 hours to move through the entire thing. The Miraflores Locks are the closest locks to the city and are the first set of locks from the Pacific Ocean. The U.S turned the operation over to Panama on Jan. 1st 2000. It operates the same as it did when it was built in the early 1900's

Taboga Island

We spent a very relaxing weekend on Taboga Island. It was so beautiful.
The weather and the water were both amazing!

Relaxed

I have setteled into a nice routine of waking up late, having breakfast served, followed by a few hours of pool time, lunch, a nap, and then hitting the town. I am wearing a very nice new perfume called mosquito repelant! I think they are going to carry me away. I look very similar to the time I had chicken pox... ok it isn't that bad but still very annoying.

The other night we went to a club. Of course because my Spanish speaking skills are not up to par in a loud places, I was content with people watching, that is until I realized that it was me who was being watched. I was fresh meat to a sea of Latin men.

I would love to say that there is more to the story but I am here to get away from the drama over the past year, not create more for myself...sorry for the lack of juice. However, I have to say that I heard one of the best pick up lines ever so I will leave you with this.
